We were given a nice pitch close to the shower and toilet as we asked for being disabled this meant we did not have to walk that far. We were also given a disabled parking pass for the lakes. The facilities are fantastic showers toilets games room shop cafe all that you need to give that extra little bit. I found the fishing hard but that was mainly due to the weather and not lack of fish as there are some real beauties to be had you could see them on the surface. I know I lost 1 20 pound plus fish. You could catch silver fish all day long if you want to but I like end of day photographs and with a no keep net rule I would not have been able to put pictures to show the true potential of the 4 lakes. The park itself is very dog friendly and has certain areas that are also dog related for nice walks. Overall this was a very good value for money park and we will be going back hopefully later in the yearJun 26, 2017 by cozuk_traveler on Meadow Lakes Holiday ParkCamping podStayed in a small camping pod. Arrived late in the evening about 20:00 as was driving down to Cornwall. The receptionist had left me a voicemail and a number to call when we arrived to pick up the key. Campsite was in a good location 16mins drive from Eden Project about 10mins to Asda, 20mins to Newquay. The Pod was situated in a pod section with parking just outside and own toilets in the section. Pod was a good size for the two of us with small window, carpeted floors, power points, radiator and bedside light. There was a picnic bench right outside. The bathroom facilities of the campsite were a two minute walk and included showers and were up to a good standard for a campsite they looked like a new build. We stayed for 2 nights and was ideal location for us as we were going to Eden project the price was very reasonable and we would both stay again. You do need to bring a blow up mattress of some sorts and your own sleeping bag.Jun 11, 2017 by vikbiks on Meadow Lakes Holiday ParkFarmhouse Self CateringWow! Amazing facilities, location and friendly staff. A short break with our young children surrounded by the beautiful Cornish countryside was just what we needed. The farmhouse has been renovated with everything we needed, including private hot-tub! Children loved the freedom of the safe site and petting time with the animals. Nearby are beautiful local beaches and quaint harbours. Absolutely will be going back.wow many thanks for taking the time to comment. we worked really hard on the farmhouse ready for this new season and obviously we are delighted you had a great stay.we look forward to your next visit and many thanksJun 5, 2017 by duffy19 on Meadow Lakes Holiday ParkFantastic Half TermWe had a friendly warm welcome from reception, made our way to our pitch, it's quite a slope on the higher pitches so levelling our large caravan was tricky but we got there. Our pitch was behind the new kids zip wire which was a favourite for our children. A great touch is that they lock it up at 9 pm every evening and unlock at 9am, so not to disturb young children trying to get to sleep. Toilets are immaculate, and very new, best showers I've had although a little hot. One recommendation is to put some shelves in or hooks on the doors as there was no where to hang towels or clothes. The shop is very well stocked with little nic nacks for the kids that don't cost much. The fishing was the highlight for us, 4 very well stocked fishing lakes and we caught on every visit, thanks to the chap that checked our permits for the tips on how to catch some bigger ones it worked. The pool was very warm and I like the booking of it so not to get to busy, we hired the jacuzzi one day for £15 and hour and was a great relaxing hour. This sight has everything to keep you and your children busy, it's well maintained, and run by very friendly hard working staff, I can find a fault really. Thanks for an amazing week we will be back next year if not sooner.Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay and hope to have you back with us soon!
